Due to rapid development & continued growth they URGENTLY need to recruit a TECHNICAL PHOTOVOLTAIC SALES MANAGER FOR THE AUSTRIAN MARKET The Role * Developing new & maintaining existing customer base * Providing technical support to roof installers, wholesalers, developers etc * Establishing & coordinating sales targets and implementing strategies, policies & standards * Ensuring all sales activates adhere to legal & ethical codes & practices * Generating revenue & company profits The Candidate My client has been very specific about the calibre of candidate that they require to join their rapidly expanding organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a young, dynamic & ambitious PV Sales person to develop a brand new market and help build recognition and market share of an already established name. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA * Full proficiency in German + English. * Previous experience IN THE AUSTRIAN PHOTOVOLTAIC MARKET is vital * Ideally 3+ years of Photovoltaic/Solar Sales Experience - preferably B2B Sales * Technical knowledge of PV/Solar Systems & Components * Knowledge of legislative issues concerning Photovoltaic/Solar Plants & Systems * Ability to build ling lasting relationships with customers & suppliers * Previous experience of dealing with local Austrian authorities and lobbying * Excellent communication & presentation skills as well as cultural awareness * A pragmatic & hands-on approach to the role * Flexibility & willingness to travel Typically you will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline with additional PV Sales experience. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO GIVE HANDS-ON SUPPORT TO INSTALLERS SO AS WELL AS THE SALES ASPECTS OF THE ROLE YOU MAY OFTEN FIND YOURSELF ON ROOFTOPS AND IN THE FIELD OF PV/SOLAR POWER PLANTS As this is a new & emerging market you would initially work from home on developing sales and would receive support from the head office in Germany.
